The Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of Education for school level in India of Central Government. The first Board set up in India was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921. The board carries on final examinations every origin for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 12. The CCE system does not regard a Class 10 Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) but instead implements a yearly rating of educational progress.
