BDL is the nodal agency for the production of ammunitions grew by India.The first such missile that acceded production with BDL was the Prithvi missile.in 1998, BDL produced Agni IRBM were inducted into the Indian Armed Forces. BDL also manufactures other missiles and systems for the Indian Armed Forces. These include the Konkurs anti-tank missiles.
