Biju Patnaik University of Technology Orissa
Introduction
Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) is located at Rourkela. The University was founded by an act of the assembly, by state govt. of Orissa in 2002. The University is providing courses such as in all Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and also offering MCA and MBA degree programmes. The main aim of constituting the University was to assure a high ability of pupils coming out of the technical colleges by a common curriculum and uniform evaluation. The University has one hundred ten colleges, both element and associated, with around fifty-eight thousand pupils.
