Central Avian Research Institute of India (CARI) is research institute placed at Izzatnagar near Bareilly of Uttar Pradesh state, India. It is India’s the most modern research infrastructure in the area of poultry science with all its inter areas, admitting vian genetics, breeding, nutrition and feed technology, and avian physiology and reproduction, aimed at the productivity and upliftment of Indian poultry industry. The institute was established in 1979 under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, and offers also education, training, and consultancy services.
