The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) was Brought about or set up or accepted; especially long established under the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 1954 with the objective of providing Including all or everything medical care facilities to Central Government employees and their family members. The Central Government Health Scheme provides including all or everything health care facilities for the Central Govt. employees and pensioners and their dependents residing in CGHS covered cities.
