Characteristics of Distance Learning

Distance learning is instructional delivery that does not require students to be physically situated in the same site as students instructor. UC Berkeley Extension distance learning program are either asynchronous (students can enroll any time and finish within six months), or have fixed start and finish dates, like a classroom program. The history of distance learning lies in correspondence study (study by mail). at present time program are also delivered by computer technologies, audio, video, or a combination.

Characteristics Of Distance Learning
Distance learning is not for everyone, and the students that are successful at it show certain characteristics that assist them thrive in that environment. Otherwise students may want to regard an on-campus environment. Recent studies have shown that distance learners do just as well as on campus students. Distance learners are self motivated. They are capable to do their work without any direction. There’s no one taking attendance, or seeing if students are late for class. They just do their work without anyone telling them to do so. They just know they require to do it.
