CPRI Bhopal
Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is the power house of the Indian electrical industry. establish in 1960 by the Government of India, it works as a centre for applied research in electrical power engineering aiding the electrical industry in product growth and quality assurance. CPRI also does as an independent authority for testing and certification of power equipment. CPRI’s governing body includes eminent professionals from industries & utilities, esteemed academic and research institutions & the government. It employs above 300 highly eligible and experienced engineers & scientists besides other supporting faculty.
The STDS has been recognized as a Testing Laboratory as per IS0 Guide 17025/EN45000 standards through National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The STDS is also accredited by International Electro-Technical Committee, France under CB scheme (IECEE-CB) for testing of LV HRC fuses, MCBs, Fuse Switch Units, Contactors and Motor Starters.
