Hello sir, I’m student of Armed Forces Medical College here I came for to get detail about the Adventure club of Armed Forces Medical College. Please give me detail of AFMC Adventure Club?

The Armed Forces Medical College has one of the best club is adventure club. The Adventure club of Armed Forces Medical College organized a Sea to sand Expedition in Gujarat & Rajastan from 03 Sep to 23 Sep 2011.

The Expedition was organized as part of the one year long Golden Jubilee celebrations of the college wef Aug 2011 to Aug 2012.

The Nineteen member team lead by Lt Col K Mohanlal comprised of two Officers:
Col Vivek Sharma
Lt Col Mohanlal

This club has 16 Medical cadets and 01 other rank.

The expedition was flagged off by Air Marshal GS Joneja,VM, Director & Commandant, in presence of Maj Gen Manoj Luthra , VSM, Dean & Dy Commandant at AFMC on 02 Sep 2011.

The expedition was planned to be conducted in 03 phases :
Phase -1 : Sea sailing in the Gulf of Kutch
Phase -2 : BAUT sailing in the Little Rann of Kutch (Gujarat)
Phase -3 : Camel safari in Barmer district of Rajastan The sea sailing (Phase I),

These phases are available for planned to be conducted on 06 Sep from Okha (Dwarka) to Kandla port.

The team visited remote border villages and organized health education lectures for the villagers.
