AFMC Eligibility

I am planning to join Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) for doing MBBS degree want eligibility details. Can you tell what the AFMC Eligibility criteria along with pattern of this exam so that I can prepare well for entrance exam also provide what are the important dates for exam?

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a premier medical institute of India acknowledged as a centre of excellence for education and research.

AFMC is a national level medical exam and conducted for the admission of candidates in MBBS programm.

Eligibility Criteria

Applying candidates have to be a resident of India.

The age should not be less than 17 and not more than 22 years as on 31st December of that year are only eligible to apply.

Candidate passed their 10+2 examination with at least 60% of aggregate marks with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English subjects and must also score a minimum of 50% of marks individually in each subject.

Important dates: This year the dates were closed apply for the same next year.

Online registration will start: 26th April, 2016
Last Date for online registration: 20th May 2016 (2359h)
Last date to sill up and submit your application form: 23rd May 2016 (2359h)
Last date for generating and taking printout of e-challan: 26th May 2016 (2359h)
Last date for making payment of fee at any SBI branch: 30th May, 2016 (upto working hours)
