AFMC's sixth center, Air Force Installation & Mission Support Center is headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, with collocated detachments.

Centralized management of installation and mission support capabilities at AFIMSC

allows the Air Force to resource and sustain a standard level of support based on Air Force priorities.

AFIMSC missions include security forces, civil engineering, base communications, logistics readiness, installation ministry programs, services, operational acquisitions and financial management.
