AICTE PHD norms

I want to do Phd from such any institute which is affiliated to AICTE that’s why I want norms and regulation introduced by the AICTE for Phd program. Is there any website from where I can get to read the norms? If yes, give me soon so that I can check my eligibility and apply before the last date.

There are so many institutes approved by AICTE and offer PhD. The NIT Trichy is one of them. It offers PhD program in many departments such as:

Department of Architecture
Department of Chemical Engineering
Department of Chemistry
Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Computer Applications
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
Department of Production Engineering

Rules of PhD issued by AICTE:
Eligibility:

If any student wants admission in PhD then the student should have scored marks not less than 60% (CGPA 6.5 in a scale of 10) in UG or PG (General Category). SC / ST candidates need to just pass UG and PG level.

Admission:
Candidates will get admission in this program after payment of prescribed fees.

Choice of Guide:
The institute does not allow more than two guides.
