AIIMS PG Entrance

I want to know the eligibility criteria to apply for All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS PG Entrance exam so can you tell me?

AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi twice a year for admissions to Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes.

AIIMS PG 2017 for January session will be conducted on November 13, 2016 .

AIIMS PG Eligibility Criteria -

MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from a recognized institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India

Candidates must have completed the 12 months of rotating internship

Candidate belonging to general category must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while it is 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories

AIIMS PG Exam Pattern

AIIMS PG will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

For MD/MS:

Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)

Number of Questions: 200 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS programmes

For MDS:

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
