AIIMS Delhi

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education in India.

They are declared by Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the fore-runner parent excellence institution, was established in 1956.

AIIMS Delhi was ranked at third place in the first list of the Times Higher Education India Reputation Rankings, published alongside the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings in 2013.

AFMC

The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a medical college in Pune managed by the Indian Armed Forces.

It was established in May 1948 after World War II on the recommendation of the BC Roy Committee, remnants of various Indian Army Medical Corps units were combined to create the Armed Forces Medical services.

In 2013 India Today Rankings, it was ranked third among medical colleges in India. Outlook India also ranked Armed Forces Medical College, Pune at #2 in 2012 and 2015. It was ranked 2 by Careers360 in 2016.

Its affiliated hospitals include Command Hospital (Southern Command), Military Hospital (Cardio Thoracic Centre), Artificial Limb Centre and Military Hospital (Khadki). Medical Journal Armed Forces of India (MJAFI) is a professional journal sponsored by the Armed Forces Medical Services and published by the AFMC.
