The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Auburn Laboratory services ten counties in Alabama in the area of Drug Chemistry.

The counties include Coosa, Clay, Randolph, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Russell, Bullock, and Barbour.

Types of Evidence Accepted

The Auburn Lab will only accept evidence for Drug Chemistry.

For Fire Debris and Toxicology evidence, please submit the evidence to the Birmingham/Hoover Laboratory.

For Forensic Biology and Firearms and Tool Mark, please submit the evidence to the Montgomery, Huntsville, Birmingham, or Mobile Regional Labs.
