Can you tell me the course contents of the MBA program offered by American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in collaboration with University of Toledos (UT) College of Business and Innovation)?

AmCham Egypts Career Development Center and the University of Toledo (UT) are collaborating to offer an AACSB-accredited MBA in Cairo. The degree is offered by the University of Toledo, Collage of Business and Innovation and is conducted mainly by UT faculty in addition to local UT adjunct faculty.

The UT MBA program core courses in Business and Management theories provide students with a firm foundation required to be successful within the global marketplace.

MBA COURSES:

BUAD 6100 - Accounting for Decision Making: Develops an appreciation for financial statements and their use in making decision. The nature of costs, opportunity costs, responsibility accounting, budgeting, cost allocations, absorption cost systems, activity-based costing and standard costs are included.

BUAD 6200 - Financial Systems: Uses cases and projects to develop the skills necessary to integrate financial and non-financial considerations into the management process, such as assessing entrepreneurial opportunities, forecasting for strategic financial decision making, and capital and business acquisition.

MKTG 6240 - Sales Force Leadership and Strategy: An examination of the roles and functions of the business-to-business sales manager, including using market and competitive analysis in sales planning and strategy development.

BUAD 6300 - Strategic Marketing and Analysis: The application of concepts, models, technology and techniques to marketing problems, with an emphasis on strategic thinking and analysis in a global environment. Also covered are market research and information use, and data-driven, ethical strategic marketing decision making.

FINA 6370 - International Financial Management: Techniques and theory of financial management in an international environment, with an emphasis on the role of international markets in reducing risk and maximizing profit.

BUAD 6400 - Results-Based Management: An integrated approach to management focusing on organizational strategies, and group and individual adaptation to environmental forces.

BUAD 6500 - International Business: An examination of the underlying theories and strategic challenges encountered when firms “go global” or operate in an international context.

BUAD 6600 - Supply Chain Management: An integrated approach to value chain management that analyzes key challenges, practices and trends concerning primary business functions and processes. The course also examines the strategic ramifications for the supply chain in an emerging digital economy.

HURM 6730 - Performance Management: Practical working knowledge of the processes of setting expectations, monitoring performance, coaching and developing employees, and assessing and rewarding good performance in rapidly changing organizations.

BUAD 6800 - Information Technology and E-Business: The strategic role of information technology resources, e-commerce initiatives and e-business transformation for competitive advantage, managerial decision support, business process streamlining and inter-firm collaboration. Also covered are analyses of business models, exposure to data analysis tools, evaluation of information system architecture and resource requirements.

BUAD 6900 - Strategic Management Capstone: Integrates business functions for the strategic management of organizations or subunits. Course pedagogy includes lectures, guest speakers, case studies, field projects and simulations.
