Procedure of Seat Allotment

As per BITS rules, total number of seats to be allotted on the basis of BITSAT 2016 is not fixed. Intake of seats is flexible too.


During the seat allotment procedure, system considers the first preference of the candidate for allotment, subject to availability of the seats.

Admission offers to BITS are made only when assignments are completed and seats are allotted.

BITSAT Seat Allotment cycle is repeated as per the vacancies and waiting list preferences.
