The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.

CTET is used to recruit teachers for Classes I to VIII of central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas etc. It will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach Classes I to V and Paper II is for those who wish to teach Classes VI to VIII.

CTET Exam Pattern Paper 1
One who wants to be a teacher for classes I to V must take only Paper I. Duration of this paper will be 2.5 hours. The paper shall have 150 questions divided equally into 5 sections.
