CETP inhibitor is class of drugs that inhibit cholesterylester transfer protein (CETP).

They are used to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis (a cardiovascular disease) by improving blood lipid levels.

CETP inhibitors drugs substantially increases HDL by inhibiting reverse cholesterol transport
