Lossy Compression-Transform coding, DFT, DCT, Harr Transform, KLT, Wavelet Transforms, Embedded Zero Tree Coder. Module III- Multimedia Compression Standards. JPEG Standards-Baseline JPEG, JPEG Models, JPEG 2000 Standards, JPEG-LS Standard, MPEG audio coders, Dolby audio coders. Basic Video Compression Principles, H.261, 263,264.
