The Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) a constituent directorate of the Utkal University

The objective is to provide continuing education.

MCA 3 Yr. (Regular Mode) Programme

No. of Seats 40

Duration Three Academic Years.(6 Semester)

Eligibility -

Graduate Degree under 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Utkal University with pass in Mathematics or Statistics as a subject at least of +2 or Senior Secondary Level are eligible for 3 year course .

OR

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)/Bachelor of Science with Computer Science (Hon’s) / Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc.(IT)) / Bachelor of Science in Information Technology & Management (B.Sc.(ITM))

OR

Those Graduate who do not fulfill the conditions as above (i.e either A or B ) can be admitted but they are required to pass two additional mathematics papers along with first semester and/or second semester. Unless they clear the mathematics papers they cannot be admitted to the 3rd Semester .

The first and second semesters shall be waived for all those who have passed BCA / B. Sc. ( Comp. Sc ( H ) ) / B. Sc ( IT ) / B. Sc ( ITM ) i.e. conditions under B . They shall be directly admitted into third semester.
