Hi I want to join Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology Course from Delhi University (DU). Would you tell me what is the Eligibility required for this Course? I heard that there is an Entrance Exam for admission in this Course. Can you provide me detail of that Exam and how can I apply for it?

Admission to Super-Speciality DM/M.Ch course will be made on the basis of marks/merit of NEET-SS to be conducted by NBE (Govt of India).

The Delhi University is admitted candidates for Superspecialty Courses DM / MCh. The Delhi University Super Specialty Entrance Test is conducted by the university to admit medical students for the following specialized courses:

DM (Cardiology)
DM (Neurology)
DM (Medical Gastroenterology)
M.Ch. (Cadio-Vascular & Thoracic Surgery)
M.Ch. (Surgical Gastroenterology)
M.Ch. (Neuro-Surgery)
M.Ch. (Paediatric Surgery)

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed Post-Graduatation (M.D./M.S.) examination on or before 31st May, of the respective year of the University of Delhi or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi and Medical Council of India.

Required documents:

High School/Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth.
Certificate in support of educational qualification: M.B.B.S. Degree/ Masters Degree/ Bachelor’s Degree – as per requirement of the course.
Detailed marks certificate of qualifying examinations: I, II & Final Professional examination of M.B.B.S./ Masters Degree/ Bachelor Degree.
The compulsory rotating internship certificate.
Registration Certificate from Delhi Medical Council/ State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
MD/ MS Degree/ DNB Certificate.
MD/MS/DNB Examination attempt certificate.
Proof of writing thesis in case the candidate has passed DNB course.
Employers Certificate, if employed (as given in the application form)
