You want to know about attendance in Duquoin State Fair so According to Fair Manager John Rednour Jr., “Thursday that 2010 was the most successful fair in ten years and preliminary 2011 numbers are almost exactly the same.

Last year, the state appropriation for the fair was a little more than $1.5 million. Revenue was around $1.4 million, almost breaking even.

Over the last eight years, the fair's state appropriation has decreased by almost $500,000, but revenues have increased by that amount.

Last year's attendance was about 350,000, which Rednour said this year would probably also match.”
