ESI-PGIMSR, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru has a well-established ESIC Model Hospital, which is located within the premises. This Institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru.

The ESI Hospital was inaugurated by Sri. B D Jatti, the then Honourable Chief Minister of Mysore on 30.12.1961, the Hospital was under administrative control of ESI State Medical Services, Government of Karnataka.

Approval for starting the Post Graduate Courses w.e.f the academic year 2010-11 has been obtained from Central Government and Medical Council of India (MCI) as per the prescribed procedure.
