Default Eligibility Criteria For MH-CET Engineering

Can you please tell me eligibility criteria for engineering exam offer by Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and also get further information of exam?

I will tell you eligibility criteria and details of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for engineering program.

Eligibility
Applicants are required to be Indian Nationals and should have passed class 12th Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates should have secured minimum 45% marks (for general category) and Minimum 40 % marks (in case of candidates of Backward class categories and

Physically Handicapped belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.

Exam pattern
MHT-CET will consist of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks

Paper-I [Physics - 50 questions, 50 marks; Chemistry - 50 questions; 50 marks]

Paper-II [Biology (Botany) - 50 questions, 50 marks and Biology (Zoology) - 50 questions; 50 marks]

Paper-III [Mathematics - 50 questions, 50 marks]

There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered

The candidate desirous of selection to Health Science courses and BVSc & AH should appear for MHT-CET 2016

The candidates will be provided one OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet

At the end of paper, candidate will hand-over the OMR Answer sheet and
Question booklet to the invigilator

No candidate is allowed to leave the examination Hall till the end of examination

The answer once marked is final any change in the option once marked, done by any method, will amount to a invalid/incorrect response

Syllabus of Exam
Syllabi of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics for the MHTCET-2016 will be the same as for the current year for HSC Examination (i.e March 2016) of HSC Board of Maharashtra

There will be three papers of one and half hours each. The medium for examination shall be English or Marathi or Urdu for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, Mathematics paper shall be in English only
