Hello, there is only one exam in whole India held for the lecturer jobs in the government college is UGC NET. This exam is conducted by UGC and candidates can select their own specialised subjects in the exam. A Lecturer should have in-depth familiarity with their selected subject.


Qualifying exam:
Candidates who have successfully completed the exam are eligible to submit an application to any of the govt. college for the post of lecturer.


Eligibility requirements:
Candidates who are Indian citizens are eligible for the exam. Candidates must have the teaching experience. Candidates need to do the master’s degree in the subject they have opted. Candidates need to have the PhD degree in the subject to become the lecturer in any university.
