The Institute is the pioneer of the case study approach to management education in India, the result of its early collaboration with Harvard. Executive MBA programs by IIMs are extremely popular and competitive. It is the best management institute. The admission process is not very different from that of a regular management programs. Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility, fee, duration and mode of lectures may differ from program to program as per the length of the course curriculum. Generic eligibility criteria for all executive programs at IIMs are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university
Minimum work exp to be between 2-10 years (varies as per the program)
Age limit is a minimum of 27 years of age.

Admission Procedure
Admission to IIMs executive programs is not very different from admission process for other programs. Admission is based on the entrance exam like common admission test (CAT), conducted by the IIMs every year, for admission to all their management programs and qualifying students will be necessary to appear for a round of group discussion and personal interview. However, the group discussion round has now been replaced by another written test known as the common analysis test which would test a candidate on understanding ability and communication skill.
