Can you tell me the Educational Qualification & Eligibility for admission in M Tech Program in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) for ISRO?

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) was established in 2007 as an autonomous academic Institution under Department of Space, Government of India. Admission to Post Graduate programmes of the Institute has total number of seats in each programme is 4 (for ISRO/DoS employees).

The applicants who are shortlisted for M. Tech/M.S. programmes are required to appear for an Interview. List of shortlisted candidates will be intimated to the concerned authorities of DOS/ISRO Units/Centres.

Candidates have to apply through online and submit the approved hard copy through proper channel. Selected candidates are not eligible for fellowship in addition to their applicable emoluments as ISRO/DoS employees.

45 years

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

B.E/B. Tech/M. Sc./M.S. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10 for General & OBC category and minimum of 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 out of 10 for SC/ST& PD category.

Selection Procedure

One who is shortlisted for M. Tech/M.S. programmes need to appear for an interview. List of shortlisted candidates are intimated to the concerned authorities of DOS/ISRO Units/Centres. Application forms received after the last date are not considered under any circumstances.
Number of seats in each programme is 4.
One who is selected for the admission has to join the course on the notified date.
