I am planning to give the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) DNS exam want details related to this. Can you provide me IMU CET DNS Eligibility for different courses and also provide me important dates to apply for the IMU CET DNS entrance exam?

The Indian Maritime University conducts all India online common entrance test known as Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET)

IMU CET DNS Eligibility

Undergraduate Programmes

For 1-Year DNS programme leading to B.Sc (Applied Nautical Science)

10+2/ equivalent (PCM-60%) OR
B.Sc (PCM) / B.Sc (Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years) Marks not less than 50%., OR
B.E./B.Tech from IIT or college recognised by AICTE Marks not less than 50%.

For 3 Year B.Sc (Nautical Science)

10+2 / equivalent (PCM-60% & English- 50% )

Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks.

For 3 Year B.Sc (Maritime Science)

10+2/ equivalent (PCM-60% & English- 50%).

Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks.

For 4-year B.Tech (Marine Engineering)*

10+2/equivalent (PCM-60% & English- 50%).

Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks.

For 3 Year B.Sc (Ship Building and Repair)

10+2/equivalent (PCM- 50% & English- 50%).

For 4 Year B.Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering)

10+2/equivalent (PCM -60% & English- 50%).

im in cls h isc board i wnt to become a captain in merchant navy after givin imu-cet 2017 am i suppose to decide to which college i want to go or they will decide?

Candidates are informed that IMU CET Application Form 2017 for PGDME course at IMU-Mumbai campus has been closed on h December 2016.

IMU shall not be responsible if any candidate is put to hardship because he did not keep himself abreast of the latest developments. The Applicants can give 3 preferences for the cities where they wish to take the CET while registering online.
