2023 2024 MBA - KMAT Counselling Procedure

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a postgraduate level examination conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for admission to MBA/PGDM/MCA programme offered by 169+ B-Schools of Karnataka and Bangalore.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association will not conduct the separate counselling process.

Candidates are required to apply separately for the participating institutions.

After the announcement of result, participating institutions shortlist the students on the basis of entrance examination

The KMAT Counselling will be conducted once the result for the written test of KMAT is announced.

Each institute under the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association issue a set of cut-off to their courses.

All the students who have cleared the cut-off marks of KMAT Examination, they will be eligible for the counseling process.

Seat allocation will be based on the performance of the student and their merit-rank in KMAT Kerala exam result.

The students will be selected on the basis of the scores in the KMAT exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal.

The KMAT scores will have 70% weight and Group Discussion and Personal Interview will have 15% weight each.

Documents required at the time of Counselling-

Original counselling letter along with photocopy of counselling letter

Original Admit card along with photocopy of admit card

Bank draft has to be made as per the guidelines mentioned on KMAT prospect

All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class

Rank Card / Hall Ticket

Scorecard

Original degree/provisional certificate for students who are appearing in their final exam

Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority

Medical documents

4-6 Passport size photographs color and black and white

Any other documents required for KMAT application form
