Rules and Regulations


All the questions and instructions of the test will be in English only. Candidates cannot attempt BITSAT Question Paper in any other language apart from English.

Candidates should bring a pen for the purpose of rough work and signing the attendance sheet.

The centre does not provide pen or pencil. Also, borrowing the same is not allowed during the exam; any attempt to do so will be treated as copy/illegitimate.

BITS will provide blank sheets for rough work, if required. These sheets should be purely used for rough work and must be kept with you throughout the examination.

Candidates must note that calculators, digital wrist watches, logarithmic tables and cell phones are prohibited inside the examination hall. They are also not allowed to carry any valuable or personal belongings with them in the test centres.

Every candidate who registers for BITSAT will be required to download BITSAT Admit Card.

Aspirants must carry their admit cards inside the test centers. Candidates without valid admit card will not be allowed to write the examination.

Candidates must note that all centers are closely monitored through a CCTV camera. All activities inside the exam hall are recorded using the cameras. Hence, they shouldn’t attempt to talk or move from their seat.

Anyone violating the rules and regulations of the BITSAT Centers will not be allowed write the test and will be automatically disqualified.
