As you want I am here giving you syllabus for Preliminary examination of Odisha Public Services Commission (OPSC).

Odisha PSC Civil Service Preliminary Examination

Exam Pattern :-
The preliminary written test will be multiple choice objective type.

There will be two papers in pre exam.

Each paper shall be of 02:00 hours (120 minutes) duration.


Paper-I
Current event of National and International importance;
History of India and Indian National Movement.;
Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World;
Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development sustainable Development, Poverty, inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiative, etc.
General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change that do not require subject specialization, and General Science.

Paper-II
Comprehension;
Interpersonal Skills including communication skills;
Logical Reasoning and Analytic ability;
Decision Making and Problem Solving;
General Mental Ability;
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude) (Class-X level).
Data interpretation (Charts, Graphs, Tables, Data Sufficiency etc. — Class-X level); and
English Language Comprehension Skills (Class-X level)
