The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most Graduate Schools in the United States.Created and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 1949

GRE Subject test

In addition to the General Test, there are also seven GRE Subject Tests testing knowledge in the specific areas of Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology; Biology; Chemistry; Literature in English; Mathematics; Physics; and Psychology. The length of each exam is 170 minutes.



Score Scales :

Three scores are reported on the GRE® General Test:

A Verbal Reasoning score reported on a 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments
A Quantitative Reasoning score reported on a 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments
An Analytical Writing score reported on a 0–6 score scale, in half-point increments
Any section in which you answer no questions at all will be reported as a No Score (NS).
