Golden Gate University offers a unique experience for graduate students across the country. It offer a variety of options for instruction to best suit all of candidates, so every student can feel like they are working up to their potential. GGU gives students the flexibility to attend school full time or part time, in person at one of our teaching centres or online.

Admission Requirements

General Graduate Admissions Requirements:

One must:
Hold an earned bachelor degree from a regionally accredited US institution or the equivalent from a recognized foreign (outside the US) institution;
Demonstrate academic and professional capability to study at the graduate level;
Possess quantitative, writing, and computing skills needed to succeed in a competitive and dynamic environment.
Satisfy any additional criteria as required for admission to a specific degree program.

GMAT / GRE
The GMAT / GRE is not required for one with more than 5 years of professional work experience (and bachelor degree from a regionally accredited US institution or the equivalent from a recognized foreign (outside the US) institution).

One with fewer than 5 years of professional work experience will be evaluated by undergraduate grade-point averages in combination with a GMAT or GRE score.

Additional waivers for the GMAT / GRE:
A Master or higher degree from a regionally accredited US institution.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
A professional license or designation received by passing a nationally recognized US examination (e.g. CMA, CIA) AND approval granted by petitioning the dean of the Edward S. Ageno School of Business.

School of Business
$3,045 per 3-unit course, except the following programs:
Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA): $3,180 per 4-unit course
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA): $65,000
Doctor of Business Administration (DBA): $4,700 per 4-unit course
