Can you tell me about the Admissions Process for MBA (Master in Business Administration) (Finance & Banking) Program offered by NIIT University in jointly with ICICI Bank?

The MBA (Finance & Banking) Admissions is offered with ICICI Bank by NIIT University. On successful completion of the course students will be absorbed at ICICI Bank as Manager-II grade or above based on duration of prior work experience.

Admission Process

One will be shortlisted based on merit and invited for the selection process. Shortlisted applicants will undergo a multistage selection process, post which the final results will be declared.

Entrance test
The test aims to measure the aptitude through verbal ability, numerical ability and logical reasoning.

Group discussion stage-
One clearing the aptitude test will be invited for case based group discussion. The group discussion is mainly conducted to judge the analytical thinking, approach adapted to business situations and the ability to break down complex problems to arrive at solutions.

Psychometric Profiling / Personal Interview
One clearing GD stage is eligible for the Personal Interview Stage.

Psychometric Profiling
It is a questionnaire based psychometric tool that indicates the typical or preferred behaviour of individuals in work settings. One needs to complete the questionnaire before appearing for the interview.

Personal Interview
Shortlisted applicants will go through the personal interview round. This is the final step in the selection process.

Eligibility

Working professionals who are CAs / Engineers / Graduates in any discipline(s)

Academic Qualifications - Graduates from engineering, IT, finance, economics, law, commerce, statistics etc. / Chartered Accountants / Professionals with varied work experience (including shop floor professionals)

Minimum 60 % in 12th and 10th exam boards and minimum 55% in graduation

Work Experience after graduation- Minimum of 3 years (full time experience across industries).

Age One should not exceed 30 years of age.

One with exceptionally rich work experience is given a privilege in terms of academic performance on a case-by-case basis if recommended by the Admissions Committee.
