IIT Madras Qualification

I have done my UG degree and planning to pursue MBA degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras want eligibility details. Can you please provide me IIT Madras Qualification required for doing MBA degree also tell details about the selection process for this course?

Indian Institute of Technology Madras is a public engineering and research institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is one of India's most prestigious universities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Regular candidates should possess a valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.

IIT Graduates who obtain a CGPA of 8 and above on 10 are exempted from CAT score.

Their shortlisting will be based on a composite score with due weights to applicant’s CAT score, past academic performance, industry experience and gender.

Short listing for this category shall be on the basis of

GMAT score
Past academic performance
Letters of reference and
Work experience, if any

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Candidates from all categories shortlisted based on the composite score shall be called for a personal interview to a given location.

The final selection for all categories except NRIs and Foreign Nationals will be based on the following:

Performance in group task, written communication and personal interview
Composite score obtained by the candidate as explained earlier.
