Indian Air Force and Navy

I have dreamt to join Indian Army from my childhood but I am in confusion that which should I prefer Indian Air Force or Navy. Please tell me which Force is harder to join? Kindly provide me all the steps to join IAF and Navy so I will get idea that which is difficult to join.

I want to know the entrance exam to join Indian Air Force and Navy? Also provide me the details of the exam?

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC twice a year by the for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

CDS Eligibility Criteria

Education:

For IMA and OTA-
You need a degree of a recognized university.

For INA-
Degree in engineering is required.

For AFA-
You should have a recognized degree and Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Women candidates are eligible for OTA only.

Indian Military Academy 19 24years
Air Force Academy 19 24 years
Naval Academy 19 24 years
Officers Training Academy 19 25 years

Last Date to Apply: 4 December, 2017
Date of Exam: 4 February, 2018

CDS (II) 2018

Notification Date: 8 August, 2018
Last Date to Apply: 3 September, 2018
