The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the Para Medical Entrance Competitive Examination (PMECE) for admission into the Para-Medical Course of the duration of 02-Years and 01 Year for the candidates.

Course -

2 years Diploma course in Para Medical
3 years Pharmacy Course
3 years Diploma in Para Medical Course
1 year Certificate course in Dresser Course

Eligibility Criteria-

Para-Medical & Pharmacy Course -

I. Sc. / 10+2 (Science) or equivalent examination. [I. Sc / 10+2 (Science) or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counseling.

Dresser Certificate Course -

Matriculation / 10th or equivalent Examination. [Matriculation / 10th or equivalent examination

Age limit:

Minimum age: 17 years
Maximum age: 35 years

JCECE Exam Pattern

There will be three subject groups namely PCM, PCB and PCMB.

The questions asked will be in the form of MCQs.

There will 50 questions from each subjects.

This make the total of 150 questions in each exam as in PCMB Group candidate has to choose either of the subject (biology/mathematics).

The correct answer will fetch you 1 mark each.

There will be negative marking of ¼ for each wrong answer.
