JCECE 2017 stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination.

It is mainly an Engineering examination. However, it also conducts examinations for M.B.B.S., Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. & A.H., Homeopathy, and Ayurveda.

Eligibility:

The applicant must have passed his/her 12th grade with the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with either Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject.

S/he must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

JCECE Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for JCECE exam 2017 is mentioned below:

Type of Question: The JCECE 2017 exam will contain objective type questions.

Question Paper Language: The language medium will be both English as well as Hindi.

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry one mark

Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, ¼ mark will be deducted from the total score. Negative marking will not be considered for no response.

Negative marking will be done for multiple answers
