KVPY Seat Number For IISER

I want to know the number of seats in Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research for KVPY students?

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research IISERs accepts the admission of candidates through any of KVPY, JEE Advanced or SCB stream.

Applicants in KVPY or IIT-JEE channels will be allotted based on their ranks, preference of IISERs, categories and vacancies.

No of seats-

Up to 50% seats for KVPY and IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced) channels

Remaining seats through State and Central Boards channel based on an Aptitude Test conducted by IISERs.

This means that the unfilled seats of the KVPY and IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced) channels will be filled through the SCB channel.

There is no rank cut-off for KVPY and SCB Channels; the candidates are allocated as per the seat availability for intake through these channels.

KVPY scholars admitted to IISERs would draw fellowship as per KVPY norms.

In addition a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships of Rs. 5000/- per month will be available for candidates admitted through JEE Advanced and SCB channels.
