The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification to conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (CHSL) for filling up 3259 vacant posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators (DEO) in different Ministries / Departments of Government of India

No Of Posts: 3259 vacant posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators through Staff Selection Commission (SSC), New Delhi.

1- Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: 2359 posts.

2- Data Entry Operator (DEO): 02 posts.

3- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 898 posts.

Eligibility Criteria-

A passed of 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Institute. For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG)-12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Age limit:

Candidates required age should be in between of 18 years - 27 years

As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.

Pay scale:

Rs. 5200-20200/-+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-, 2400/-.

Application fee:

For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules.

Rs. 100/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid through Online in SBI for SSC Combined Higher Secondary level 10+2 Examination 2017 for 3259 Vacancy.

No fee from SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Selection process:

Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in 2 stages- written examination (Tier I & II) and skill test or typing test (Tier III).

Important dates-

Date of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): 04-03-2018 to 26-03-2018.

Date of Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper): 08-07-2018.
