The Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh for admission in the two-year Diploma course in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed).

LPCET Eligibility Criteria

Telugu Pandit :

B.A (Telugu Literature) / B.A (Oriental language Telugu) / Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu / A Graduate Degree with optional subject Telugu / M.A (Telugu)

Hindi Pandit :

A Graduate Degree with optional subject Hindi/Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi / Praveen Bharat Hindhi Prachar Sabha / Vidwen of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad / any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA) standard by the government of AP / M.A (Hindi).

Candidates who have appeared for final qualifying examination (or) its equivalent during this academic year are also eligible to apply entrance examination subject to the condition that they should produce their pass certificates at the time of counseling without fail.

Candidates should be minimum 19 years of age.

LPCET 2018 Exam Scheme

The LPCET 2018 exam is an objective type exam.

The exam will consist of multiple choice question.

The examination will be conducted in the offline mode. Candidate will have to answer 100 questions.

One mark will be awarded for every correct response.

The duration of the examination is 2 Hours.

The exam will be divided into four sections listed below:
