I have completed B.Tech degree and now want to do M.Tech course from the University of Hyderabad so please give me details about there admission criteria? When the admission process of it will start? How can I apply for admission in it?

The Hyderabad University invites online application form for admission in M.Tech program in the University.

The University of Hyderabad offers M.Tech admission 2018 on the basis of GATE scores.

The university offers 6 M.Tech programmes in total which includes M.Tech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Integrated Circuit Technology, Bioinformatics and Materials Engineering.

The UOHyd M.Tech eligibility-

For-
Computer Science
Artificial Intelligence
Information Technology

Candidates need to have minimum 60% marks in their bachelors' degree in B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. In (Computer Science/ Information Sciences/ Electronics)

GATE scores of candidates in Computer Science and Information Technology in the order of merit will be considered. No entrance test or interview will be conducted.

For Integrated Circuit Technology-

Candidates need to have secured minimum 60% marks in Physics (with Electronics as one of the subjects)/ B.E./ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering. OR

Minimum 55% marks in Master's degree in Electronics Science.

GATE scores in the order of merit in the one of the following subjects will be considered for admission:

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Instrumentation Engineering

Physics

No entrance exam or interview will be conducted.

For Bioinformatics-

Candidates need to have minimum 55% in aggregate in their Masters in any of the following :

Biological

Agricultural Sciences

Physical/ Chemical Sciences OR

Minimum 60% marks in their B.Tech or B.Pharmacy degree.

GATE qualified candidates will be considered on their scores in the entrance exam. GATE will be considered for the following subjects:

Biotechnology-BT,

Chemistry-CY,

Mathematics-MA,

Physics-PH,

Agricultural Engineering-AG, Electronics & Communication

Engineering-EC,

Computer Science and Information Technology-CS,

Chemical Engineering-CH

Non-GATE candidates will have to appear in an entrance exam (75 marks) and interview (25 marks). The questions in the exam will be in MCQ pattern from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Sciences

For Materials Engineering-

Candidates need to have B.E./ B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering; Metallurgical and Materials Engineering; Chemical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Ceramic Engineering OR

Master of Science degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science/ Biotechnology/ Nano Science and Technology.

Candidates will be considered on their GATE scores in the order of merit in any of the following subjects :

Mechanical Engineering;

Metallurgical Engineering;

Physics;

Engineering Sciences,

Chemical Engineering,

Production and Industrial Engineering

Candidates need to have secured minimum 55% marks in their respective qualifying marks
