Admission requirement-

Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a 2.50 overall GPA (Title V requirement)

AND

Standardized test: GMAT or GRE (test scores are considered valid for 5 years from the test date).

A minimum percentile of 30% for overall (GMAT only), verbal, and quantitative scores is required from those with less than 5 years of professional, managerial work experience. If you have more than 5 but less than 10 years of professional work experience, our admissions committee will have more leniency on your percentile scores.

For example:

Having 7 years of professional, mangerial work experience will help to offset a GMAT verbal percentile score of 28%.

Standardized GMAT or GRE Waiver

Earned an undergraduate business degree at Sacramento State with an overall GPA of 3.25 or better

Earned an undergraduate business degree at an AACSB accredited institution with an overall GPA of 3.25 or better

Applicants who plan on waiving out of the GMAT/GRE with their GPA do not need to submit GMAT waiver form. MPS will verify their GPA using their transcripts.

Credentialed as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) submit CFA credential with application to MBA@csus.edu.

Currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) submit copy of CPA license with application to MBA@csus.edu. Unlicensed applicants must supply a copy of their CPA exam grade report sent by the State Board of Accountancy, while licensed applicants must supply a copy of their CPA license.

Hold a graduate degree from an accredited institution*

Are currently a student in a doctoral program at an accredited institution*

Have 10 years of valid and documented professional and managerial experience*

*Applicants must submit an MBA Admission Test Waiver request form with a written statement and required supporting documents for review and decision. Submit to MBA@csus.edu.

Until the MBA Admission Test waiver request has been approved, the applicant must take the GMAT or GRE.

International applicants must obtain a minimum TOEFL of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (Internet-based), or an IELTS score of 7
