Manchester Metropolitan University offers MSc Project Management program. The course includes two units accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM).

MSc Project Management program

Length
MSc 1 year full-time, 2-3 years part-time • PgDip 9 months full-time, 16 months part-time • PgCert 4 months full-time, 8 months part-time.

Full-time Delivery-
The full-time programme will normally include three days of attendance per week in taught lectures, tutorials and workshops during the autumn and spring terms.

Part-time Delivery

There is a part-time route available for applicants starting in September.
The part-time route will take the following length:

MSc: 24 months

PgDip: 16 months

PgCert: 8 months

Typical entry requirements

You should have a good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or equivalent (including international), in any subject.

They also consider applications from candidates who have equivalent professional qualifications or significant, relevant management experience.

If your first language is not English and your first degree was not taught in English, you must have an English language score of IETLS 6.5, or equivalent such as TOEFL IBT 90.

If your IETLS score is 5.5 they may offer you a place on the proviso that you successfully complete an approved English language course at the University.

You will study the following units, with the choice to specialise in one area of study from a choice of three option units.

Option units (choose one from):

Management Practice
Logistics and Supply Chain Concepts and Practices

(Option units are correct at the time of publishing but may be subject to change).

The number of units you study will depend on if you choose the PgCert (60 credits), PgDip (120 credits) or MSc (120 credits of units + 60 credit dissertation).
