Hello sir, here I came for to understand the Credit Based Semester and Grading System of Mumbai University. Is there any one can provide me detail of Mumbai University Credit Based Semester and Grading System?

The Mumbai University is working based on Credit Based Semester and Grading System. This Credit Based Semester and Grading System is provides grading marks in any course of Mumbai university which are taken by candidates.

According to this system If a candidate fails in only one course and having passed in all other courses their deficiency of marks in such head of passing may be condoned by not more than 1% of the aggregate marks of the examination or 10% of the total number of marks of that course / head of passing in which he/she is failing, whichever is less.

Condonation, whether in one head of passing or aggregate head of passing are restricted to maximum up to 10 marks only.

Condonation of deficiency of marks be shown in the Grade Card/ Statement of Marks in the form of asterisk and Ordinance number.

Perfromance Grading:

The Performance Grading of the learners shall be on the SEVEN point ranking system as under:

Grade Marks Grade Points
O 70 & above 7
A 60 to 69.99 6
B 55 to 59.99 5
C 50 to 54.99 4
D 45 to 49.99 3
E 40 to 44.99 2
F (Fail) 39.99 & below 1
