Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College offers MBBS course of duration Five and a half years.

MBBS course

The MBBS course comprises Five and a half years, followed by compulsory rotatory internship of one year.

The course follows semester system, each semester consisting of six months.

The MBBS course is divided in to three phases, viz., Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical Phase.

HSC Science equivalent with minimum 50% Marks + AIET

Subjects Covered

1st year: Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry

2nd year: Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Community Medicine; Clinical postings

3rd year 1st part: ENT, Opthalmology, Community Medicine; Clinical postings

3rd year 2nd part: Medicine and allied (Dermatology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, chest medicine); Surgery and allied (Orthopedics, Radiology, Anaesthesia), Obstetric and gynecology

General Quota: Rs. 25,00,000/- Per Year.

NRI Quota:

1. Rs. 29,25,000/- Per Year (45,000 USD)
+15 % of Tuition Fees as Eligibility/ Enrollment (One Time)
+ 3% raise in fees per year only For NRI Quota
