In Goa the NIFT and Govt. of Goa was signed agreement for to open NIFT in Goa on 3rd August, 2006 for setting up a fashion institute at Goa.

This institute was scheduled to be established under a Network Coordination Committee consisting of members from Govt. of Goa and NIFT under the Chairmanship of Hon. Industries Minister, Govt. of Goa.

A suitable place was also identified at Shram Shakti Bhavan for the establishment of the institute.

The National Institute of Technology itself is a brand. This is being around beautiful beaches and waterfalls can rejuvenate anyone.

Ample opportunities are there for the students.
