National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) was set up in 1989 as a non benefit organization under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for financing, encouraging and activating assets for the monetary strengthening of people having a place with the Scheduled Castes families living beneath twofold the Poverty Line.

Mandate:

Giving concessional fund to setting up of independent work activities and aptitude preparing awards to unemployed SC people living beneath Double the Poverty Line.

Share Capital:

The approved offer capital of the Corporation is Rs 1500 crores and the Paid up Share Capital is Rs 1219.80 cr. as on 31.03.2017.
