Central Board of Secondary Education every year conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Class 1st to class 5th and class 6th to 8th class teacher in all over India.

CTET exam conducted twice in a year by CBSE.


Selection Process:
Qualify with minimum cut off marks in written exam

CTET Passing Marks

CTET Expected Cut off 2016 (September)

Category Cutoff
General 80-87
SC 72-80
ST 70-80
OBC 78-85

CTET FEB 2017 Important Dates (Tentative):

Starting Date for submission of application form: December 2016
CTET 2017 Last date for submission of application: December 2016
Last date for CTET Exam fee Payment: December 2016
Period to Online corrections in CTET Application form 2017 particulars: January 2017
Download CTET 2017 Admit Card from Board’s website: Last week of January 2017
CTET 2017 Written Exam Date: Mid of February 2017
CTET Result 2017 Released date: April 2017
Dispatch of CTET Marks Certificate: April 2017

I want to build my career in teaching line and decided to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) want exam details. Can you tell what the CTET Passing Marks and selection process so that I prep accordingly also provide what are the important dates for this exam?
