Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is sorted out by Central Board of Secondary Education for hopefuls wanting to join Central Government Schools, for example, NVS/KVS/Tibetan School and so forth as a Teacher. It is CTET 2017an All India level placement test led each year.

Least Qualifications for getting to be Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its comparable capability) with no less than half stamps and passed or showing up in the last year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Or, then again

Senior Secondary (or its proportional capability) with no less than 45% imprints and passed or showing up in the last year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Or, then again

Senior Secondary/10+2 (or its proportionate capability) with no less than half stamps and passed or showing up in the last year of four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).

Or, on the other hand

Senior Secondary/10+2 (or its identical capability) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the last year of two years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Or, on the other hand

Graduation or equal and passed or showing up in the last year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Least Qualifications for Classes sixth to eighth Teacher: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or showing up in the last year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education.

Or, then again

Graduation or proportional capability with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the 1 year Bachelor in Education program (B.Ed).

Or, on the other hand

Graduation or comparable capability with no less than 45% imprints and passed or showing up in the 1-year B.Ed, as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

Or, on the other hand

Senior Secondary/10+2 (or its identical capability) with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in the last year of four years B.El.Ed (Bachelor in Elementary Education).

Or, on the other hand

Senior Secondary (or its equal capability) with no less than half stamps and passed or showing up in the last year of four years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed course.

Or, then again

Graduation with no less than half checks and passed or showing up in 1-year B.Ed. (Custom curriculum)

Application Fee


-For General/OBC Category: Rs.600/- (for either paper I or II) & Rs. 1000/- (for both Paper I & II).
-For SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: Rs.300/- (for either paper I or II) & Rs. 500/- (for both Paper I & II).

CTET Exam Pattern 2017:

Number of Papers: 2 (Paper I & Paper II)

Paper I is conducted for applicants having the desire to become the teacher for class I to V.

Paper II is organized for applicants having desire to become the teacher for class VI to VIII.

Applicants interested for both are required to appear for both papers.
